Pendulum rider from the Gotthrad Steglich manufactory.
The principle of the pendulum rider as a movable toy is based on old motifs from traditional "Ore Mountain folk art". The swinging of the pendulum causes a nodding movement of the horse's head and tail. Since the rider's arms are connected to the horse by the reins, they follow this movement. The wooden clamp for attachment has a maximum width of 25 mm.
