Notes on disposal of spent batteries

The following note is directed at those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and in the form delivered to it, not to resell (end-users):

Withdrawl for free of spent batteries

Batteries may not be disposed of with household waste. They are legally obliged to return used batteries, so a proper disposal can be ensured. You can give batteries to a municipal collection center or on site. We are also acting as a distributor of batteries to take back waste batteries obliged to give our take-back obligation on batteries of the type that we carry out as new batteries in our range or have performed. You can therefore either sufficient postage back to us or they give directly free of charge to our warehouse.

Containing pollutants batteries are marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or Pb) of the heavy metal that determines its classification as pollutant:

1. „Cd" stands for cadmium.
2. „Hg" stands for mercury.
3. „Pb" stands for lead.
